Poison’s Ex-Drummer Arrested for Rape

The 1980s glam metal band Poison’s former drummer Rikki Rockett has been apprehended on Monday near Los Angeles International Airport regarding a rape warrant filed against him.

The case was handed over to the district attorney’s bureau for a pronouncement on whether to follow suit.

The ex- Poison-er was booked and released, and now awaiting an extradition decision by the prosecutors.

A Mississippi woman charged a complaint that she was raped on September 23, 2007, at the Silver Star Casino, Ralph Sciple, Neshoba County sheriff’s investigator disclosed.

“The subject, Rikki Rockett, forcibly had sex with an adult in one of the hotel rooms,” as per complaint.

Sciple said the woman called the police several days after the suspected assault.

No further information was provided regarding the case, but advised that his office thought the woman’s grievance needs to be reviewed by the district attorney.

Richard Ream aka Rockett, could not be reached for statement.

The former rock star was booked into the Los Angeles County jail list under his pseudonym and was freed early on Tuesday, the jail inmate information on the county sheriff’s website verified.
