The Punisher Doesn’t Want to be Punished

April 10, 2008

The Punisher Thomas Jane wouldn’t like to be punished, of course.

The Punisher and The Mist star pleaded not guilty to triple DUI- associated disobedience that started from his apprehension last March 17 around the vicinity of Bakersfield, Calif., a Kern County Superior Court rep confirmed through E! News.

Police officers confirmed that the California Highway Patrol established that Jane was going between 120 and 125 miles per hour right before they asked him to pull over. As soon as he was established to be under the influence, police impounded his 2008 Maserati and brought him to Kern County Jail, where he was booked on the notion of DUI and later freed the following morning.

His legal counsel, H.A. Sala, entered pleas of not guilty last Wednesday regarding the misdemeanor charges of DUI, driving with a blood-alcohol level beyond the 0.08 percent state maximum value and possession of a prohibited substance without a doctor’s written recommendation.

Jane is mandated to appear at the Shafter Courthouse for a pretrial court proceedings on May 19.
