Cynthia Nixon the stunning Miranda on hit TV-now- a- movie Sex And The City, admitted that she’s been keeping a gloomy and terrible secret - she had breast cancer.

While dealing with the illness, she had to carry a fearless visage to the public and kept everything to herself – now is confessing about the incident.

“I didn’t really want to make it public while I was going through it,” she told US show Nightline. ” I didn’t want paparazzi at the hospital, that kind of thing.”

Ann, Cynthia’s mother, braved breast cancer when she was just 12 years old. “I always sort of thought, ‘I’m probably going to get breast cancer. There’s a really good chance.’” Cynthia confessed.

Right after Sex And The City wrapped, she performed in a play straightaway. Cynthia didn’t let anyone know that she was combating cancer - even putting off her treatments so she wouldn’t let pass a particular performance of her play.

I can say, she’s very committed! The actuality that the illness was spotted so early meant Cynthia had a huge probability of thumping it.

“I felt scared… I thought, ‘Oh, I don’t want this to be happening.’ I was very cognizant of if it’s going to happen, this is the best way for it to happen, that it’s found so early and we can just get right on it.”

“I want them [women] most to hear me saying that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. So the only thing to really be afraid of is if you don’t go get your mammograms, because there’s some part of you that doesn’t want to know, and that’s the thing that’s going to trip you up. That’s the thing that could have a really bad endgame,” she warns.
