Jessica to Stand Between Nick and Vanessa

It’s been two years and a half since Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson called it quits and went on their separate ways, but up to now it is rumored that Nick’s old flame is still haunting him. He is currently with his new ladylove, Vanessa Minnillo, who wants to wear his ring but after his marriage with Jess he seems to be in no hurry to head down in the Aisle for another marriage.

An insider has revealed to time magazine saying that, “Nick has told (Vanessa) time and time again that he’s just not ready to remarry,” but as well does not doubt Nick’s love for Vanessa by saying, “He’s in love with Vanessa, but part of him still is healing over his split from Jessica. He’s been burned before, and marriage isn’t high on his list of priorities.”

Although with this in mind, you can’t really blame Vanessa if sometimes she feels as though Jessica still comes first in Nick’s heart, “She accused Nick of still being in love with Jessica. And that’s just one button you don’t want to push with Nick.”

The source say that this situation is making the former boy band feel the pressure. “Nick is ready to pull the plug on the relationship. He’s threatened it before, but this is the first time he means it! Vanessa badgers him constantly about commitment. She wants a ring on her finger, a wedding and kids.”

Speaking of this, don’t’ you just want to remember that movie “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days”? We still don’t have the real gist on the side of Vanessa but if this were true, it sounds desperate and a little pathetic to see. If a guy wants to marry you he will.

Isn’t it bad enough that Nick is being pressured into marriage and automatically add kids as well for that matter. Then this relationship is so much on the rocks if that’s the case. It doesn’t seem that Nick is at all crazy about her cause if he was, two years would have been enough for him to heal and jump in a splash of a marriage.

We can’t really say if Nick is still in love with his old flame but it’s quite obvious if he wants to marry the one he is with right now.
