Lilo’s BFF is Still On War-Mode With Perez Hilton

April 11, 2008

Samantha Ronson is still on a war-mode with Perez Hilton.

Lindsay Lohan’s BFF and Hollywood DJ, is planning to re-establish her slander complaint in opposition to the celebrity- blogger, which was sacked last November after a judge ruled that to continue would mean an assault on Hilton’s freedom of speech.

As per court records filed Wednesday by David M. Bass, Ronson’s latest legal counsel, his client’s former lawyer, Martin Garbus, had a disagreement of interest over legal cost and didn’t continue on the case to the best of his capability, rejecting Ronson as a client before he had removed Hilton and failing to contest the case discharge.

Ronson did not get a hold of her day in court—or a charming resolution—from her indictment regarding an article the gossip writer posted in the wake of Lohan’s May 2007 bust for DUI and cocaine possession suggesting Ronson had placed the cocaine and if not fed her friend to the paparazzi, she was also prearranged to cough up $85,000 for Hilton’s attorneys’ bill, also.

In the intervening time, Ronson has been charged for nearly $165,000 in unsettled amount from Garbus’ New York-based company, Davis & Gilbert LLC.

Garbus vowed to sue the hip-hop spinner no more than $75,000 and then sent her an invoice for two months of work totaling $99,000.
