Brangelina Donates Big!

Hollywood A-list pair Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt bestowed more than $8.9 million to aid organizations in 2006, as per tax accounts.

Fox News narrated on its website that the power couple gave more than $4.45 million apiece to the Jolie Pitt Foundation, which was build up two years ago to assist in humanitarian causes around the globe.

As per federal tax accounts, the foundation funneled out around $2.67 million in contributions in 2006, counting $1.11 million each to both Doctors without Borders and the Global AIDS Alliance.

Additional money assistance included $154,000 to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program, the nation where the pair’s biological offspring Shiloh was born.

A contribution of US$100,000 was also granted to the Daniel Pearl Foundation, a trust created to honor the former Wall Street Journal correspondent slain by Islamic extremists in Pakistan. Angelina Jolie played Pearl’s widow Marianne in 2007’s highly praised motion picture “A Mighty Heart.

On top of the aforementioned, US$20,000 was given to an art park in Los Angeles while two orphanages visited by Jolie received US$5000 dollars apiece.

Brangelina are presently reported to be expecting their second baby. The power pair met while shooting their 2005 movie Mr and Mrs Smith and shortly began a romantic bond.

Pitt was formerly wedded to Friends celebrity Jennifer Aniston, whereas Jolie has been married twice before.
