The National Enquirer reported that Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf was scolded for lighting up at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
Just months ago the Emmy and BAFTA-winning actor was charged with unlawful smoking in Burbank, California, but the case was later dismissed after he paid a $500 fine.
While shooting a film at the location, LaBeouf reportedly went to the bathroom and lit up a cigarette there. Informants of the magazine said that the actor was reprimanded and was told not to light up again or he would be removed by force from the area.
An arrest warrant was previously issued against LaBeouf for the illegal smoking charge he faced in Burbank when he and his attorney failed to appear in court.
In 2007, the actor also figured in a trespassing misdemeanor in Chicago but the charge was dropped a month later.
Shia LaBeouf became known for his starring role in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens. He then landed on film roles with Holes, Constantine, and I, Robot. He eventually took lead roles in the films The Greatest Game Ever Played, Disturbia and Transformers. He was cast by Steven Spielberg in the 2008 movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as Henry “Mutt Williams” Jones III.
