Modonna’s songs “Burning UP†and “Ray of Light†was some that was celebrated on a Monday night ceremony of the 23rd annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame making the event one of the extreme role models of different genres search for common grounds.
Madonna’s involvement in the occasion created a more intimate and emotional atmosphere as she became teary eyed while she was inspiring all those that were present in the event of her lengthy yet heartfelt talks where her history and some significant personal struggles that took place during her rise to stardom including people that contributed to her gentle push of becoming who she is right now as she is unlikely to forget her past. She also talked in regard to her songwriting saying, “Luckily, I have been miraculously and mysteriously possessed by some kind of magic.â€
Madonna had earned her being a pop icon for quite sometime, having survived the evolution of music by being versatile enough to reinvent herself over and over again. Gaining more and more fans over the years as well as keeping the loyalists excited on how she’s going to revamp music in itself.
Other stars like Justin Timberlake made an introductory speech saying, “The world is full of Madonna wannabes. I might have even dated a couple. But there truly is only one Madonna,†adding that, “Though I’m pretty sure Little Richard would disagree, the truth is that nobody has ever gotten into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while still looking this damn fine.â€
Timberlake also described Madonna’s impact as, “Madonna was and will continue to be for all of us: A shot in the ass when we need it most,â€
In the whole of the ceremony itself, Madonna had seemed moved by the whole occasion.
