Bon Jovi’s Sambora Arrested

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora (pictured above rocking it out with John Bon Jovi) was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Together with him in his car were also his girlfriend, another juvenile and his 10 year old daughter Ava; which means Sambora could face criminal charges. The DUI could end up as endangerment since the child was with him inside the vehicle. Laguna Beach P.D. is still investigating. Yeah! Laguna Beach!

Laguna Beach police Sgt. Jason Kravetz said in an interview that he saw the black Hummer that Samboredom was driving not following traffic lanes. When he pulled them over he immediately gave Richie boy a sobriety test and then put the 48 year old “rocker” under arrest. Maybe Sambora finally got to his senses and realized he was actually part of Bon Jovi. Therefore his actions are conceivable.

“He smelled of alcohol,” Kravetz added. “At this point there’s no indication of drugs.” Below is a mugshot of Sambora: don’t you just love celebrity mugshots?

After they were pulled over at around 11 in the evening on Tuesday, the cops immediately called Heather Locklear, Ava’s mother, who then agreed to have the girlfriend drive their daughter home. Hooray! Heather Locklear! Hooray for civility! Melrose Place is da bomb!

Samboring was released at 4 in the morning. Court appearance for the DUI arraignment is scheduled for May 7.

In very much related news, we have found out that Sambora is still currently in therapy for alcoholism. He voluntarily entered a treatment facility last year because he saw himself drinking too much and he wanted to get his life together.

“I’m still in therapy and stuff like that, but it’s good. I’m great. I feel fine,” said the moron.

Well, you are certainly in the right direction! And for dragging your daughter into it you deserve an achievement award.

Surprisingly, his drinking problem was not caused by the realization of his Bon Jovi membership. It started right after his break up with the hotness that is Denise Richards (she seems to attract morons). That same month his divorce with Heather Locklear also got finalized. Plus his father died. Any human being would certainly fall head first if this happened. But still, it’s not reason enough to bring you life to a screeching halt. Non-stop drinking is suicide.

Plus, his music career hasn’t been that bad, given that he is with Bon Jovi. He plays lead for the band and is one of the group’s founding members and primary songwriters. They just released an album last year entitled (very aptly so I might add) “Lost Highway.”

He also had two solo albums, both flops. Sorry. I had to add this for informative purposes.
