Whitney Houston (pictured above in an old photo) is going to be paid £1.4 million by billionaire philanthropist John Cauldwell for a charity event performance. In dollars, that’s roughly 2.8 mil.

Yes. Your eyes are not fooling you.
Somebody’s going get a lot of money in exchange for a little of her time.
That’s a lot of money for. Wonder where it’s going to go? Yes, I bet Whitney’s already making arrangements for coke by the kilos. Kidding!
“Mr. Caudlwell thinks it is important to raise the profile of the Cauldwell Children charity and stars such as Whitney Houston are the sort of people he’s hoping to attract.”
Who wouldn’t be attracted to that much money? And speaking of the money, what about the £1.4 million? Where is that going? Whitney should also give that money to charity since that’s the purpose of the whole thing, right? – which she wouldn’t be doing, of course.
Whitney Houston is not known as a charitable person – evident with the million dollar talent fee for a charitable event! She is just not the right person for this. Plus she is notorious for drinking, doing drugs, and most especially not showing up at anything!

Maybe that’s the reason for the huge payout. You have to shell out a lot to get her out of bed and do something productive!
Whitney Houston isn’t too visible lately (look at a more recent photo below; reason enough not to be seen). Her recent previous appearances could be counted by two fingers: the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event at
But I must admit, I give her much props for finally divorcing Bobby Brown last year. He was the one who dragged her down that hole in the first place. Props to you million dollar lady!
