Geri Showed Off Her New Beau

Britney, LeAnn Rimes and JLo did it before! Now it’s Geri Halliwell’s turn to jump on the bandwagon of dating- your-own- back-up dancer trend!

The former Ginger Spice has taken on the role of a single mum to daughter Bluebell for an extended occasion now – and she looked ecstatic when showing off her latest beau Ivan ‘Flipz’ Velez in front of cameras when the couple attended American Idol’s recent taping.

It’s very reasonable to proclaim that Geri herself also looked quite incredible – while absolutely still appearing sinewy to me. She seems to be more glowingly radiant than wiry in a sexy purple dress.

They’ve hooked up since ‘It’s Raining Men’ days when Ivan was featured on her music video – but didn’t establish a special connection until the current Spice Girls reunion tour. Apparently, sparks were flying behind the scenes.

A close associate of Geri’s told The Sun that “towards the end of the tour, it began to heat up and turn into something more.”

“She found she missed him after the tour ended in February, so she flew out to Los Angeles to be with him.”

“He’s great with her daughter Bluebell. She was with Geri on tour so he is already familiar to her. And he’s very popular in the Spice Girls camp.”

“It’s early days but they’re having a lot of fun.”
