If Its Not Tancredi Then Whose Head Is IT?

Contrary to the common belief, seems like it’s not Dr. Sara Tancredi’s head in a box after all, and even if people say it’s her, actually it’s not really her.

Confused?

Producers of Prison Break confirmed that they’re going to have to put their heads together on this one and Sarah Wayne Callies, who played Michael Scofield’s ostensibly lost love Sara, will go back for the series’ fourth season, and not only as a flashback sequence.

Executive producer Matt Olmstead recently announced that Callies’ character is in fact alive, with her head intact.

She’s the real deal,” Olmstead said, announcing that they are planning to put breaks in the action for us to witness how Sara slipped from the axe. (This was Sara’s second hang about from the death sentence, essentially. She was initially headed for a season-one execution through overdose, but Fox rejected the idea of killing her…and so she stayed.)

Season four is jumping-forward, hit-the-ground-running storytelling. But we are dropping back, in flashback, and explaining how the characters got to where they are and the situation with her, certainly.”

Hence, even if Lincoln’s son purportedly saw Sara’s offing or that for all intents and rationale it actually did look as if her head was in that box. But it appears that, followers still had enough loose ends left with which to intertwine together a new scheme and keep up hope that Sarah was alive.

It wasn’t because of the fans that we did that, but it was the combination of the fans’ reactions on the boards and emails, and people we, the writers, know personally would ask about it,” Olmstead said.

We knew internally that when we didn’t get Sarah Wayne Callies to come back in season three and be there to portray her character’s death, as soon as it was written and filmed and we saw it on screen, we knew that it was actually a way you could describe how this wasn’t Sarah’s head in the box, basically.”

Prison Break’s third season, shortened to only 13 episodes due to writers’ dispute, concluded with Michael, vengeance on his mind, driving down a Panamanian road into network ambiguity. nevertheless Fox declared earlier this week that it had prepared a complete 22-episode fourth season for this fall, giving way for a new web of quandaries—and, rumor has it that an amusing surprise is waiting—for the determined vigilante.
