Wolverine’s Working On a Comic Book Original

Hugh Jackman is focusing his talents to producing his own comic book original called Nowhere Man.

The plot involves a futuristic science-fiction odyssey placed in a time when men have chose safety and security in replacement for privacy, which will be coming from Jackman and Marc Guggenheim’s (the guy behind Marvel comics’ Wolverine series and Amazing Spider-Man) brains.

The talented actor said that the plan is Nowhere Man to be accepted enough that it might later on become a motion picture.

X-Men and other movie series originated from comic book characters such as Spider-Man and Batman have been among Hollywood’s major grosser for more than a decade. Three movies starting with X-Men in 2000 and including X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand have sold more than $US1.1 billion tickets at global box offices.

A fourth film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which also stars Jackman, is scheduled to premier in theatres early 2009.
