WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) is being sued for his son’s (Nick Bollea: pictured above together with the wrecked 1998 Toyota Supra that he drove straight into a palm tree) car crash accident late last year.

The parents of John Graziano (Nick’s friend and a passenger of his car when the accident happened) filed the lawsuit in Pinellas County, Florida. Edward and Debra Graziano are blaming the Hulkster for his son’s apparent addiction to speed and car racing. Nick Bollea has been charged with reckless driving with serious bodily injury but no trial date has been set yet. The distraught parents are looking at millions of dollars of medical care for the rest of their son’s life.

“He never will be fully the John he was before,” said the Graziano’s attorney George Tregos on the condition of John Graziano, a young 23 year old Iraq War veteran now lying bedridden with a ventilator.

According to police reports, one the night of Aug. 26, 2007, Nick Bollea was racing a friend of his named Daniel Jacobs (who was driving a Dodge Viper) when the accident happened. Witnesses told investigators they saw the two cars speeding and racing on the wet road. Suddenly one of the cars (Nick Bollea’s) rammed right into a palm tree. Graziano was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious head wounds. The report said the Supra was running at 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Nick Bollea got his license in 2005, a year later he was already pulled over twice for racing past 100 mph. Last year, he added three more speeding tickets and in November (two months after the said accident) his license was suspended for having a blood alcohol level of 0.055 percent as a minor.

The Graziano family is also suing Nick’s mom, Linda Bollea (pictured above with the Hulkster, their daughter Brooke, and racer son Nick) and his other friend Daniel Jacobs. Talk about timing. Linda just recently filed for divorce after she found out that the Hulkster was “wrestling” with one of their daughter Brooke’s friends.

Linda fueled her son’s addiction to street racing: “Oh, I love it. I love it,” said Linda (according to the lawsuit). “The rush, the speed on the road, stereo blasting, heart pounding, racing in between all the cars, dodging the cops. It’s awesome.”

Hulk Hogan apparently bought the alcohol that his son allegedly drank on the day of the accident. Nick Bollea had a blood-alcohol level of 0.02 percent or higher. The Hulkster also owns the “souped up” 1998 Supra – apparently it had been upgraded for racing purposes.
