50 Cent to Give Up Guns
June 21, 2008

A New York judge ordered rapper and G-Unit head gorilla 50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III / Fiddy) to surrender any guns he might have in his possession. This was in conjunction with the issuance of a temporary restraining order against him in favor of and requested by his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Shaniqua Tompkins.
Fiddy and Shaniqua has a son, Marquise Jackson, who was born on October 13, 1997. Fiddy admits that the birth of Marquise has changed his total outlook on life.
“When my son came into my life, my priorities changed, because I wanted to have the relationship with him that I didn’t have with my father.”
And yet recently he’s been trying to evict both the baby momma and their child from his NY mansion – at least that’s what Ms. Tompkins is saying.
This is how it all started…
Apparently, the rapper had promised to his then girlfriend that he will buy a $2.4 million Dix Hills house for her and their son. He did buy the house. Actually, he bought them a mansion – true gangsta style. But being the playah that he is, he put it under his own name (who wouldn’t???).
Eventually, the couple broke up in 2001. Somehow he must have seen that coming; by not naming the house under the wifey. Since the separation, Fiddy has been giving Shaniqua $6,700 per month as child support for Marquise (which just recently she tried to up to $50,000!!! – What are you feeing the kid? Solid gold?!). The mother and the son have been living in the NY mansion since. Everybody happy.
Not so much.
According to Fiddy’s side, Shaniqua should have left the mansion since she had her new lover and a new family of her own. The ex fought back with a lawsuit – saying that Fiddy committed a breach of verbal contract when he promised to buy them the house and ended up putting it under his own name.
And by some “twist of fate” – and by that I meant arsonist for hire - the house burned down on May 31, 2008.
Fiddy of course denied any involvement in the incident. Not only that… he has also filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against Ms. Tompkins for statements released to the media – to which his ex’s camp says: “It’s completely baseless and it’s retaliatory,” says Paul Catsandonis, Ms. Tompkins’ lawyer. “It’s nothing more than an attempt to rehabilitate his image.”
The lawsuit was filed by Fiddy’s camp in retaliation to comments his ex made to the media after the fire. She said that Fiddy “tried to kill” her and their child by setting the mansion on fire. She also said the Fiddy threatened her: “If someone threatens you on Monday and you jump out of a second floor window on Friday, that’s the facts, you decide.”
And now a TRO is given in her favor.
Fiddy’s lawyer, Atty. Brett Kimmel, says that: “To my knowledge, [50 Cent] has no guns.” Their side will contest the ruling. The attorney believes Fiddy NEVER had guns.
Yeah, right.
Fiddy was shot 9 times in close range in 2000. Needless to say, he survived. But are you telling me that after going thru an ordeal like that, and being in a business that lives and breathes the gangsta lifestyle, he does not own a single firearm? I would doubt he has pistols. Sub machine guns and automatic rifles perhaps.
How about you? Do you believe Shaniqua is entitled to her own house paid for by Fiddy? And that 50 Cent burned down his own mansion just shut her up? I’m not gonna ask about the guns, there’s no question about that.
