Heather Mills Gets Paid
One of the most celebrated divorce battles in media history is now over – with both parties leaving with an acceptable deal.
Heather Mills will get a total of £24.3 million (approximately $48.9 million) from Paul McCartney in their divorce settlement. This does not include $5 million worth of jewelry and millions more of artwork that she is allowed to keep. The artwork includes paintings by Andy Warhol and Keith Haring and several John Lennon pencil sketches.
The settlement was based on the court’s valuing of the ex-Beatle. They estimated his worth to be at around $800 million. This is as opposed to the widely reported $1.6 billion.
“It might not be 1.6 (billion dollars), but trust me, if you accurately calculate his royalties and other assets he has to be worth at least a billion,” said a reliable source who happens to be a longtime associate of the legendary band.
So Paul McCartney should be very happy with the ruling, as he will only have to part with around 60 million. As soon as news on the divorce came out, everyone estimated that at least 100 mil is going to Heather Mills. When the court hearing started, Mills asked for 250, while the McCartney camp argued that she should only get around 31.6, which includes the 15.6 that she already had in her possession.

But then again, that’s not so surprising.
”I’m so, so happy with this. I’m glad it’s over,” Mills told reporters waiting outside the
Mills ended up getting approximately $40,000 per day for everyday she and Paul McCartney were married. That’s a very good pay for an aging model Sorry, that was rude. True, but rude! Haha! (Mills, pictured above, is now 40 years old; she married the Beatle in June of 2002).
The couple has a daughter, Beatrice (pictured above with her mum), who is now 4 years old. McCartney will pay for her studies and nanny fees as part of the settlement.
The court also ruled that the judgment be made public. Mills will file an appeal to stop the courts from doing so. She said she is appealing “because the judgment involves private secure matters of my daughter.”
Mills, who represented herself in court, urged would-be divorcees to do the same. “You can be a litigating person,” she said. “You’d save yourself a fortune.”
When asked if she planned on leaving the country, Mills said that she “can’t leave
