How can a Cook be so stressed out?

If he’s in American Idol, that is.

The American Idol competitor David Cook was apparently rushed to a LA hospital following Tuesday night’s show after suffering what were probably tension-associated heart palpitations.

After the doctors probed the young performer, who was suffering from an increased heart rate and a spike in blood pressure, he was given medication to bring his blood pressure down and then was sent home.

He’s presently back at the L.A.-area hotel where he and his fellow Idol contenders are housed this season. “He is fine and not at the hospital,”

Bo Bice has signed on to partake in the forthcoming Idol Camp this summer, meaning, he will be a mentor to musically exceptional kids.

This will accommodate youngsters between the ages of 10 and 15, runs in two-week parts commencing on June 15 and ending Aug. 23.

Following its introduction in Massachusetts last summer, the program progressed to the California area this year, where it will be based in the San Bernardino mountains.

Additional American Idol graduates who have dedicated their time in an appearance at the camp this summer counts season-five finalist Ace Young, season-two finalist Kimberly Caldwell and season-four finalist Anthony Federov.

It has been confirmed. American Idol hunk David Hernandez (pictured above in one of his show performances) was a former male stripper.

On Monday, Dick’s Cabaret manager Gordy Bryan confirmed that the aspiring singer lap danced for the club’s, er, “male” clients. He did it for three years.

He added that David “had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here.”

But Idol producers are brushing off rumors that the show will sanction the contestant by disqualifying him from the competition.
