George Clooney thinks that being a true-to-life diplomat is not as fun as it seems.

The A-lister discloses in the newest issue of British men’s glossy Zoo Weekly how he initiated himself looking down at bigger than life machine gun-toting kid soldiers during a recent trip to Darfur.

“There were all these young kids with AK-47s,” Clooney said. “They went through the car and took what they wanted. We hid all our tapes and stuff, but they pointed the guns at us and stole what they could. It happens all the time.”

Three days ago, US based “tabloid” -ish magazine Star announced thru e-mail to all their media partners and journalist friends that dirty hunk Brad Pitt and luscious lips Angelina Jolie “took it to the next level” and got married at the French Quarter Wedding Chapel in New Orleans. Wow! Just like that..

To say that this is the biggest news and the biggest wedding of the decade is an understatement. Needless to say, everyone from Abkhazia to Zimbabwe went ape crazy to get updates and info on the announcement. How could news of this magnitude easily sneak through the entire world? It simply could not be true.

Hollywood A-list pair Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt bestowed more than $8.9 million to aid organizations in 2006, as per tax accounts.

Fox News narrated on its website that the power couple gave more than $4.45 million apiece to the Jolie Pitt Foundation, which was build up two years ago to assist in humanitarian causes around the globe.

As per federal tax accounts, the foundation funneled out around $2.67 million in contributions in 2006, counting $1.11 million each to both Doctors without Borders and the Global AIDS Alliance.
