Idol’s Cook Now Ok
How can a Cook be so stressed out?
If he’s in American Idol, that is.
The American Idol competitor David Cook was apparently rushed to a LA hospital following Tuesday night’s show after suffering what were probably tension-associated heart palpitations.
After the doctors probed the young performer, who was suffering from an increased heart rate and a spike in blood pressure, he was given medication to bring his blood pressure down and then was sent home.
He’s presently back at the L.A.-area hotel where he and his fellow Idol contenders are housed this season. “He is fine and not at the hospital,”
An Idol honcho advised the website that it was pressure and stress that led to Cook’s situation, caused in part by show-related demands and also because to recent bad news he received concerning his brother, who is braving cancer.
For the moment, a Fox rep said that the network “does not comment on the personal lives of the show contestants.“
